Game Of Thrones: Lessons Learned

Game of thrones is not only for entertainment, but if you watch the series with full focus and concentration, you will get to know a lot, many things about life which are well described in the Series.

Below are some of the many life lessons one can learn from Game of Thrones:

Love has no boundaries and can happen with anyone, even with your sister as seen with Cersi Lannister and Jamie Lannister. Even with your Aunt with John Snow and Daenerys Targaryen deeply in love with each other and even with the one you can’t have sex with Missandei and Grey Worm?

No matter how good, knowledgeable or how wise you are, people will still judge you from your appearance as with Tyrion Lannister. He is the most weak and vulnerable person physically, but he proves himself to be one of the most dangerous people in the show. Never be too overconfident and never let your focus out unless you have completely destroyed your opponent as with Prince Oberyn Vs the Mountain.

Never let your enemies know about your weakness because they will use it to kill or hurt you as seen with Ned Stark to the Lannisters. Sometimes it’s better to trust a stranger than people you knows as with Sansa Stark trusting Little finger and not lady Brien. Briene of tarth is the most determined and loyal person. She uses her skills for keeping up to her vows. She doesn’t bend to unworthy people and doesn’t think once bending before worthy ones. Her loyalty is the most appreciable quality.

Arya Stark becoming the Faceless man implying that with desire, hard work and dedication a person can achieve anything. If you are smart and dedicated, then you can clear even the biggest hurdles easily as seen with Arya Stark destroying entire house frey.

Bravery is bigger than numbers as with Jon Snow at Battle of Bastards, Jon snow is the most hardworking man in the show. He tries his best to do the right thing and be a good leader. People showed him ignorance but with his hard work, he changed the mindset of everyone.

Ramsay Bolton and Petyr Baelish, Both of them were capable and strong, but they misused their strengths and ended up having miserable deaths. You should never backstab one who trusts you as with Theon Greyjoy to House Stark.

No matter how hard life hits you, you get back with a bang. Daeneris goes through so much in life but in the end she emerges out as the mother of dragons, queen of mereen, leader of the unsullied and so many other things. Her brother always tried to put her down saying she’s a woman and he was the rightful succeeder. Later when her husband dies she takes up all responsibility and leads the way for her tribe by becoming the khaleesi and created her destiny.

Family comes before anything. This is something the Starks teach us and no other House does, most of them were just horrible people.

Most characters in Game of Thrones are bad people and everyone knows that. But you can find positivity in everything if you just look at it from a different perspective. Like even Lord Baelish is the most selfish and deceitful person but if you think about it you will realize that everything he does is for the sole aim of achieving his goal, which is to rule the 7 kingdoms.

What lesson did you learnt.
